Shen Milsom & Wilke is a global consulting firm dedicated to providing guidance and creative technology solutions. Our Information and Communication Technology Group is seeking a talented individual to join our multi-disciplinary team in our Denver, Colorado office. This is a Denver-based entry-level position with the opportunity to assist and contribute to our team of AV, Security, IT, Medical Equipment Planning, and Acoustical engineers. You will coordinate with the Senior team to provide client-focused consultancy services in conceptual designs for audiovisual multimedia and control systems.
Project types are vast and will involve new construction and retrofits for multiple vertical markets including education, healthcare, government, corporate, commercial, and hospitality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work within multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Assist with low-voltage, architectural, mechanical, structural design, and engineering plans and specifications as required.
- Aid with space planning consulting and building systems as appropriate.
- Assist with project drawings in BIM/Revit.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, clients, and other interdepartmental personnel.
- Review shop drawings and product submittals.
- Assure SM&W Quality standards with adherence to QA/QC procedures.
- 5-10% domestic and international travel may be required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in the design or design/build field.
- Understanding of the architectural and engineering design and integration process.
- Strong client-service oriented and ability to interact with clients, staff, and design and management teams.
- Strong verbal and written business communication skills are required including the ability to conduct presentations.
- Familiarity with BIM/Revit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office environments
- 4-year Engineering degree or equivalent

Annual Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000. Salary will align with skills and experience.
