The Shenandoah Community School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Middle School Art Teacher (5th-8th Grade) for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a teaching license with an endorsement in K-8 Art through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. Ideal candidates will have experience working with students, must have excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated solid instructional practice. Candidates need to be able to create a flexible program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with students; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for students, in accordance with each pupil's ability; and to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
