About the Job
This is a contract position with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The shift schedule is 6:45 pm - 7:15 am (nights), working 3x12s. Every other weekend and holiday is required. You must have 2 years of experience and be certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEARS, and hold a VA State License or Compact.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages in a mixed population emergency department
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow and quality care
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and families
Requirements
* Current VA State License or Compact
* BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEARS certification
* 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department
