Maintenance Assistant Director - Full Time, Day Shift

Shenandoah Senior Living Community is seeking a Maintenance Assistant Director to join our skilled nursing facility in Shenandoah, PA .

Position Details :

  • Schedule : Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Day Shift
  • Rate : $18 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in overseeing the facility's maintenance and repair operations
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including repairing walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, and windows
  • Ensure proper upkeep of common areas, grounds, and equipment
  • Support compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Coordinate with vendors and external contractors as needed
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move equipment / materials as needed
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply
