Line Service Technician

Position Type: Full-time, Hourly

Shifts: Day and Night Shifts, Weekends and Holidays Required

Summary:

Join our team at Shenandoah Valley Airport as a Line Service Technician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of aircraft services, providing exceptional customer service to crews and passengers. This dynamic position involves a variety of duties including fueling, towing, de-icing, ground power services, and more. We are seeking a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes safety, and possesses excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

·        Perform aircraft fueling operations safely and efficiently.

·        Provide parking, towing, and movement assistance to aircraft.

·        Handle lavatory, de-icing, ground power, and potable water services.

·        Load and unload luggage and cargo from aircraft.

·        Maintain fuel quality control and handle fueling equipment.

·        Conduct basic Aircraft firefighting and Emergency Medical Responder duties.

·        Operate and drive ground service equipment including fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, and tugs.

·        Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

·        Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

·        High school diploma or equivalent.

·        Previous experience in aviation or related field preferred.

·        Ability to work day and night shifts, including weekends.

·        Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

·        Capacity to work effectively in a team environment.

·        Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

·        Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, climb, and work in all weather conditions.

·        Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

·        Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
