About the Role:
The Family Medicine Physician will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages within the community. Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for board certification. (Must obtain certification within 5 years of completing residency).
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of WV.
- Current WV DEA.
- All qualifications must be met by start date.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Provide preventive care services, including vaccinations, screenings, and health education.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Salary plus RVU based incentive compensation calculated and paid quarterly
