We're immediately hiring experienced servers with a passion for providing our guests with an excellent experience every time they stop by. Our Pub is very well known and busy, please have a minimum of 3 years of restaurant experience, 1 year serving to apply.

Maintaining politeness and a positive attitude while multitasking in order to serve the needs of various diners, at the same time creates a great dining experience for our customers. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to; Guest satisfaction, details
of orders, retention of customers, recommendations, supporting the team as needed, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant throughout your shift, and knowing current promotions.

General Responsibilities
- Greet the customer immediately
- Offer menu recommendations upon request along with informing customers of the daily specials
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
- Bring wine selections to tables with appropriate glasses, and pour the wines for the customer
- Write accurate food and drink orders, using POS ordering software
- Check customers’ ID to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages with a valid ID
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night
- Communicate order details to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drink orders promptly
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining room
- Deliver checks and collect bills for payments
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning if needed with organization methods used in the kitchen – Full Hands in Full Hands out
- Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for any reservations
- Follow all health department regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Be on time for your shift
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Perform prep work at the beginning and at the end of your shift
- Roll silverware, set up server stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties, set up bar Perform food preparation as needed before bringing to the table
- Stock serving stations as needed with food or supplies
- Handle customers’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously ensuring guest satisfaction, report these issues to your supervisor in private
- Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the restaurant
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings
- Look well groomed and neatly dressed consistently
- Paying close attention to detail, such as placing orders exactly to customer specifications
- Listening carefully to determine the desires of the customer
- Interacting sufficiently with customers to build goodwill and attend to their needs, but also being sensitive about giving people their space.
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills
- Communication and listening skills as well as basic computer knowledge
- 3 years’ experience preferred
- Weekend availability is a deal breaker ,
- Ability to work evenings and holidays as required
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Familiar with restaurant POS software is highly desirable
- Comfort with noisy, high volume atmosphere
- Capable of working well under pressure
- Team player is a must
- We do not hire seasonal employees

- Ability to lift 25 lbs/ occasionally more
- Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop or crouch repeatedly
- Ability to serve an upstairs dining room
Working Condition

- Outdoor patio and upstairs dining to be served
- Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates
