Monday – Friday
Responsibilities
All aspects of food preparation and serving for 500 students, directly supervise 5-10 employees, working knowledge and compliance with all DOH regulations and National School Lunch/Breakfast
Program requirements, superior customer service skills. Responsible for daily operations, food and supply inventory and ordering, accurate daily recordkeeping, quality control, safe food storage and handling, kitchen sanitation, equipment maintenance, cash handling, time records. Position requires heavy lifting.
Job Qualifications
General Statement:
Three years of experience in large scale cooking or any equivalent combination of experience and training and/or graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS registered two-year College with an Associate Degree in Food Service Administration, Dietetics or Nutrition and one year of experience in the preparation of food on a large scale; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
