Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. The District is seeking culturally proficient individuals who actively foster an engaging environment where students can develop confidence in their own success consistent with the Profile of a Shenendehowa Employee.

Job Goal:

Leadership of all aspects of K-12 Physical Education in accordance with NYSED Regulations. Provide leadership and comprehensive management of the interscholastic and intramural athletic/activity programs in the District, including the use of facilities for such purposes. The Director shall work cooperatively and in concert with all district and building-level administrators to provide and foster an environment conducive to learning, sportsmanship, and school pride. Benefits & Salary:

• Salary $130,000 - $145,000 per year, commensurate with experience
• District Administrators (DLST) Collective Bargaining Agreement
• 12-month position
• Health Insurance and Leave Benefits

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS School District Administrator (SDA) or School District Leader (SDL) certificate
• Certification in Physical Education required
• Experience in the supervision and administration of athletic programs
• Minimum five years of teaching and/or coaching experience
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications that the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
