- Working knowledge of the maintenance and repair of buildings, fixtures, and equipment;
- Willingness to assist maintenance mechanics with repair jobs;
- Ability to make a variety of simple repairs and adjustments to buildings and equipment;
- Possess physical endurance and be in good physical condition with the ability to lift medium weights, operate lifts, use scaffolding, and climb ladders;
- Willingness to perform routine manual work;
- Willingness to work under all weather conditions;
- Willingness to assist maintenance mechanics with larger repair jobs;
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, dependability, and thoroughness; and a demonstrated ability to work well with others;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Capable of following oral and written instructions; and
- Other duties as assigned.
