Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. Job Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for assisting students in a structured study hall. Working in a small group setting, the individual will follow a structured plan for the students provided by the teacher. Responsibilities include monitoring student's behavior, providing positive feedback, keeping students on task and redirecting students as necessary. This individual may be assigned other responsibilities in the classroom.

Compensation & Benefits

Step 1 ($20.72/hr) - Step 5 ($23.23/hr)

Certifications/Qualifications

Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) and experience with youth desirable. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration. Exhibit good judgment, mental alertness, tact and courtesy. Physical condition commensurate with the responsibilities of the position.
