Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our business, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role is essential to maintaining our company’s financial health and supporting our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure the accuracy of all financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and tax documents.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Collaborate with external accountants and tax professionals as needed.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
- Support other administrative tasks and special projects as needed in a small business environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a small business setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
