Job Summary:Responsible for demonstrating and developing the skills and knowledge required for installing broadband service drops this will include working with both aerial and buried drops for connecting broadband customer homes and businesses. The Drop Technician will operate a vibratory plow/trencher, read, create, maintain schematics/diagrams and bore under sidewalks and driveways when appropriate. This position requires a self-starter that can work efficiently and independently to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work. You must be able to successfully complete drop installation and broadband service activations for customer homes and businesses.

Education: High School Diploma / GED
Relevant Work Experience:• 0-2 Years of Field Operations or Construction related experience.
Environmental Requirements:Factors affecting environmental conditions will vary depending on the assigned work area and task.• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.• Ability to carry and climb a 28' ladder from truck to pole and/or house.• Ability to work in an array of weather conditions.• Walking, sitting, kneeling & crouching for extended periods.• Driving.
