What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exhibits Sales Manager position at Shepard Exposition Services?
The Exhibits Sales Manager will drive revenue for the organization by selling custom exhibits and facilitating direct purchases or rentals for trade shows and events nationwide.
Key Contributions of the Role- Actively seek new and existing exhibits business from exhibitors across all Shepard shows, with the goal of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibits customers to encourage repeat business and future sales opportunities.
- Engage in sales meetings, pre-show events, and various company functions to promote collaboration and drive overall success.
- Attend nationwide shows with major clients to address their on-site needs and provide support.
- Enhance sales performance by proactively following up on leads and tracking results.
- Deliver timely and accurate pricing information to customers.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to continually improve sales strategies.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in exhibits sales, with a proven track record of driving considerable revenue growth.
- Ability to travel nationwide as business dictates.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; relevant experience may be substituted for formal education.
