What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Operations Coordinator position at Shepard Exposition Services?
Provide support to the operations team in the areas of planning, coordination, and on-site payroll.
Key Contributions of the Role- Ability to visit event locations to support Team Leaders with on-site production efforts
- Coordinate with operations on paperwork preparation for show production
- Administer and manage on-site new hire process and paperwork
- Organize and maintain on-site operations payroll files
- Assist with on-site safety incident reporting and process
- Participate in various operations meetings; maintain meeting notes on shared company network
- Assist with planning efforts and post-event follow-up
- Provide support for travel process and travel reimbursements
- Additional duties include:
- Initiate/update purchase orders
- Facilitate specialty floor plan work orders
- Coordinate outside services (cleaning, labor, dumpsters, etc.) in accordance with company policy, established budgets, and timescales
- Assist with on-site inspections and quality control measures
- At least 1 year of recent administrative experience in a high-volume business environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and ability to organize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe software
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner by making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company.
