Position Summary:
This hybrid role combines front desk duties with essential legal administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and motivated to grow within the legal field. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent paralegal program graduate or an individual with prior legal experience looking to build their career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, manage voicemail, and schedule appointments
- Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and documents
- Maintain and organize physical and digital case files
- Assist with filing documents with the court and communicating with court staff
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Requirements:
- Recent paralegal graduate or experience working in a law firm or legal setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with legal practice management software
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Interest in family law and a desire to grow within the field
