Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $50,000/Year - $75,000/Year
90 Day Training Pay Rate: $20/Hr
Starting Pay Rate (upon training completion): $22/Hr with a $29/Hr Performance Bonus Rate
Pay Rate Increase (throughout year 1 of employment): $25/Hr with a $32/Hr Performance Bonus Rate

Our Hiring Process

After an initial interview,we will schedule a date and time for a skill assessment. You will meet us at one of our current job sites and be assigned a series of tasks to perform. The point of this assessment is to see how well you know the painting trade and where your particular skill level is at. This skill assessment can take as little as 15 minutes or as long as a few hours.

If you pass the assessment… The next step is a drug test and background check. All of our candidates must pass both to be employed with our company. Once your drug test and background check are approved you will be officially hired and scheduled a start date to begin your training.

Your Path To Success

Welcome to the PPT Training Program. During this period your official title will be Pro-Painting Technician Apprentice. You will remain in "Apprentice” status during your training until you pass your field assessment and written testing. Pay rate during the PPT Training program is $20/hr.

Please note that all of our new hires must complete this training program, regardless of how much previous professional painting experience you have. The point of this program is to acquaint you with all of our processes, protocols, and procedures for how our company operates. No one skips this training program. It doesn't matter if you have 2 years experience or 25 years experience. Everyone must share the same values and mindset regarding our company standards to be employed here.

Our goal is to have you 100% ready to operate with excellence, without need of any instruction or supervision by your 90 day mark.

After passing your field assessment & written tests, you will be promoted to the position of Pro-Painting Technician.

Each Pro-Painting Technician’s starting wage is $22/Hr and $29/Hr with their performance bonus rate engaged. Several pay raises will also be given throughout your first year of employment as you grow and become an even more valued asset to our company. By the 12 month mark with our company, you will be making $25/Hr and $32/Hr with your performance bonus rate engaged. *All pay raises are subject to evaluation and passing performance reviews at each given bench mark.

• Must have previous professional painting experience (a minimum of 2 years)
• Must be comfortable with and physically capable of going up/down ladders daily
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must provide your own transportation to and from our office

Daily Work Schedule

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday (8:30am to 4:30pm)

You will be expected to arrive at our office each morning (typically around 8am) with enough time to get into your assigned work vehicle and arrive to that day’s job site by 8:30am. You leave the job site at 4:00pm and return to our office to park the work vehicle.

• Pay days are every other Friday.
