School-Based Counselor – Shepard School (Kinnelon, NJ)
Shepard School, a state-approved private elementary and middle school for students with disabilities, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic School-Based Counselor to join our team. We serve K-8 students with behavioral and learning challenges and are looking for motivated professionals eager to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide weekly individual and group counseling to students
- Offer crisis intervention and behavior management support
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student success
- Receive ongoing supervision and professional development

All candidates must possess the proper NJ Department of Education State Certification in Educational Services (School Psychologist, School Social Worker, School Counselor).
