Position Summary: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer service-focused individual to join our Inside Sales Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling our full product line over the phone to our existing customer base, including Electrical Contractors, Mechanical, and Facility Service workers in our brand new Richmond location!
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Pay: $47,840 - $62,400 annually, plus commission
Essential Functions:
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting multiple product lines and developing a pipeline of prospective opportunities within an existing customer base.
- Make outbound follow-up calls to sell Shepherd's product line.
- Convert inbound sales inquiries into orders.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude, conduct, and appearance.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by assisting customers with part identification, providing quotes, and processing orders.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through outstanding customer service.
- Participate in training to maintain and grow basic knowledge of electrical products.
- Perform all other associated tasks assigned by the Leadership team.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior successful sales experience required.
- 1-3 years of experience in the Electrical industry preferred.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong ability to multi-task and follow-up skills required.
- Computer proficiency preferred; Eclipse software system knowledge is helpful.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Professional and pleasant phone demeanor.
