Grounds Maintenance Crew Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to gardening, lawn care, and general landscape maintenance. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform general landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Maintain gardens by weeding, mulching, and watering plants as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Assist in tree care activities such as tree trimming and removal when necessary.
• Participate in snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
• Collaborate with team members to complete landscape projects on time and according to specifications.
• Follow safety protocols while working with mechanical equipment and tools.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment after each job.

Experience

• Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with garden maintenance practices and landscape design is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment is beneficial for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely.
• A willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance and care is essential.
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• No accidents and Must have valid driver license

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
