Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
At Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness, we are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.
About the Role :
The CNA will perform a combination of duties in caring for residents in the center, consistent with the plan of care and established long-term care standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Answer signal lights and assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene.
- Serve and collect food trays and feed residents who require assistance.
- Transport residents using a wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assist them in walking.
- Turn and reposition residents, either alone or with assistance.
- Take and record vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed.
- Complete accurate documentation.
