Position for hire: Warehouse Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) team in a fast-paced residential construction environment. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for inventory management, material handling, and ensuring that MEP supplies and equipment are organized and readily available to support construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming MEP materials and equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Prepare and stage materials for job sites as per project schedules.
- Track stock levels and notify the procurement team of shortages or reorder needs.
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring accuracy and condition of materials.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols.
- Assist in tracking tools and equipment, ensuring their availability and proper functioning.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Follow company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Basic understanding of MEP materials and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification is a plus).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.

As a new company, the current position will have substantial administrative duties as well and the candidate must be able to wear multiple hats. The candidate must be able to implement processes and workflows in order to help build a highly efficient company.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
