What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Worker - Floater position at Shepherd's Way Day School?
We are looking to add an experienced childcare floater to our program. The ideal candidate would be someone who was looking to grow with our company as lead / assistant teacher positions become available. This opening would focus primarily on our older toddlers and younger twos.
If you do not already have your NC Early Childhood Credentials, you must be willing to get them within 1-year of employment (EDU 119- community college course, we participated in a scholarship program that would cover your cost).
Floater responsibilities include :
- Giving breaks and lunches to staff.
- Covering classrooms when a lead or assistant teacher is off.
- Closing a classroom each afternoon.
The position would be Monday through Friday 10 am until 6 pm during training. Once training is completed, hours may be adjusted as needed to accommodate lead / assistant teacher vacation schedules.
Pay based on experience and education in the field of early childhood education.
