What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Clinician, Mobile Crisis – Hagerstown, MD - PRN or PART-TIME position at Sheppard & Enoch Pratt Hospital?
Mobile crisis services in Washington County are designed for individuals of any age who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Our team provides in-person crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate services and resources. This would be for overnight shifts with the hours of 11 PM- 7 AM. Part-time and PRN positions available and preferred for scheduling.
What to expect.
This is an opportunity to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and relief to individuals in the community who are experiencing a behavioral health related crisis.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Providing immediate interventions and support to address acute symptoms of mental illness, alcohol or drug use, or emotional distress.
- Assessing the need for crisis services, follow-up interventions, and transition plans, as clinically indicated.
- Maintaining working knowledge of community services and resources.
What we need from you.
- Must possess one of the following at time of hire:
- Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
- Two years of positively referenced work, student, or volunteer experience.
- A driver’s license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.

The pay range for this position is $66,000 minimum to $85,000 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
