What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem Therapist, Child and Adolescent Day Hospital – Elkridge, MD position at Sheppard & Enoch Pratt Hospital?
The Child and Adolescent Day Hospital at Sheppard Pratt’s Baltimore/Washington Campus is a warm and welcoming environment for adolescents who need more clinically-intensive services than can be provided in an outpatient setting. Our interdisciplinary treatment teams engage patients in six and a half hours of therapeutic programming each day.
What to expect.
You will provide compassionate care to children and adolescents ages 12-17. No evening or weekend hours are required.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Offering supportive counseling and monitoring progress towards treatment goals.
- Collaborating with treatment team members to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes.
- Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to support holistic patient care.
What we need from you.
- Must possess one of the following Maryland licenses at time of hire:
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
- Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience. The pay range for this job is $28-$50/hr.
