The Adult Day Hospital at Sheppard Pratt offers a continuum of services for individuals experiencing mood and thought disorders such as schizophrenia and substance-induced psychosis.
What to expect.
You will provide compassionate care to individuals experiencing thought disorders . No evening or weekend hours are required.
Specific responsibilities will include :
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Offering supportive counseling and monitoring progress towards treatment goals.
- Collaborating with treatment team members to communicate patient progress and contribute to treatment planning and aftercare planning processes.
- Participating in family meetings and collaborative care sessions as needed to support holistic patient care .
