What to expect.
We are seeking a licensed or pre-licensed counselor or social worker to provide school-based and in-home individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and their families/support systems in Frederick County, MD. Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide behavioral and mental health support through individual, family, and group therapy sessions in clients' homes, schools, or other convenient locations.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ functional levels and develop professional treatment plans tailored to their needs.
- Develops and updates treatment plans in collaboration with other team members and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Completes thorough documentation and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitates coordination of care.
- Availability for evening work 2 times a week to accommodate clients’ schedules and provide flexible, accessible care.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and attend periodic training sessions to improve clinical skills.
- Collaborate with school staff and other community providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

What we need from you.
- Must be licensed or pre-licensed in Maryland as a:
- Licensed Certificated Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
- Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
- LMSW & LGPC licensed therapists can expect to earn $66,000 to $68,000 maximum.
- LCSW-C & LCPC licensed therapists will be paid $80,000 to $82,000 maximum.
