What to expect.
You will provide pre-vocational experiences and coordinate arrangements for vocational work groups for students within the Sheppard Pratt School program.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assisting in developing relationships for new jobs and internship sites on campus and within the community.
- Assessing students’ vocational strengths and opportunities for growth to identify the appropriate work settings and groups.
- Providing students with job training and developing skills for specific job tasks.

What we need from you.
- One of the following combinations of education and experience:
- Associate degree in a mental health related field and 1 year of work experience.
- 3 years of related work experience resulting in knowledge of clinical terminology and diagnosis to effectively communicate with treatment teams.
- Must meet Sheppard Pratt’s requirements to operate a company vehicle:
- Be 18 years old with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Driving record with 2 points or less for the 3 most recent years of driving history.
