The Executive Housekeeper will provide guests with an excellent room experience and will ensure that all operational standards and procedures for the Housekeeping and Laundry Department are being followed by team members.
Essential Duties:
The Executive Housekeeper will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Ensure the financial goals of the department and the hotel are being met by managing labor costs, controlling expenses for supplies and equipment, and suggesting cost-saving initiatives;
- Create an incredible guest experience by providing a clean room, friendly service, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring that all Employees in Housekeeping and Laundry are doing likewise;
- Train Employees to meet brand standards;
- Manage the department by providing a fair workplace by ensuring Employees understand employment practices; you will recommend employment decisions and take corrective action as needed through training, re-training, and corrective action if needed;
- Coordinate and communicate in an efficient and timely manner with other departments and peers;
- Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency;
- Perform and/ or assist with cleaning duties as needed;
- Maintain records and daily reports of operations;
- Maintain an accurate record of lost and found items;
- Practice hotel emergency procedures to include fire, life, and safety ;
- Monitor room and public space conditions, cleanliness, and quality of service throughout the hotel ;
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including immediately eporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions;
- Support other departments as needed based on business demands; and
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
Experience in Housekeeping Management
Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Technology:
Basic computer knowledge, including the Microsoft Suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook
Experience with hotel information systems preferred
Required Physical:
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs;
Bending, standing/walking up to 90% of day, wiping, vacuuming, spraying, reaching, kneeling, grabbing, carrying; writing, listening, talking reading, speaking, calculating (math),
Required Other:
Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights weekends, holidays, and special events;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
