Responsibilities for dishwasher
- Clean all kitchen items including machine, walls and floors
- Responsible for emptying trash receptacles, cleaning floors, walls and
- Gathers items from the servery and kitchen for disposal or washing
- Scrapes food from dirty dishes and places them in racks
- Washes worktables, walls, and work areas
- Picks up, segregates and bags trash and garbage and removes all trash and rubbish to designated areas
- Responsible to set up dishwashing and pot sink area for service
- Responsible to maintain weekly cleaning schedule
- Responsible to dispose of trash, boxes, cans and bottles in their proper receptacles
- Responsible to sweep and mop kitchen floor, walk-in refrigerators and tile area in dining room
Qualifications for dishwasher
- Must meet the physical demands of the position
- Ability to learn the proper operation and maintenance of dishwashing machines
- Ability to perform routine cleaning work
- Knowledge of safe use of various chemical substances used for cleaning purposes preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a crowded, high-volume and fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
