Restaurant Server

Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel welcomes you to Indiana's capital city with modern style and unparalleled convenience. Perfectly situated in the downtown district, just half a mile from the Indiana Convention Center, our hotel is tailor-made for both business trips and family vacations.

We are now looking for dedicated and goal oriented individuals for our AM Restaurant Server position. Candidates must have availability between 5:00 am and 2:00 pm. Weekend and holiday availability is also required. Actual shifts and hours will vary.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers, providing menus and answering questions about food and beverages.
• Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems, ensuring timely service.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained throughout service.
• Handle payments and manage cash register transactions efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest experiences and encourage repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service and restaurant environments
• Proficiency with POS systems, including Micros
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle guest inquiries
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
