We are currently seeking an Event Planning Manager to join our team, serving as a key liaison between our hotel and group meeting planners. This position will ensure flawless execution from initial planning to final billing.
Job Overview:
The Event Planning Manager will collaborate directly with group clients throughout the planning process and be on-site to greet them during site tours, pre-convention meetings, and arrivals. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth coordination and execution of events and meetings, with responsibilities that include:
- Reviewing sales agreements and contracts
- Detailing all food & beverage, audio/visual, and meeting room requirements
- Managing room blocks and tracking pickup
- Coordinating billing instructions and conducting final reviews
- Partnering with operational departments to ensure event details are communicated and executed in alignment with Sheraton brand standards
Key Qualifications:
- A true passion for hospitality and exceeding guest expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in computer applications and event management systems
- 1-3 years of experience in hotel event planning or sales
- Ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative team culture
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and internal relationships

Salary Range:
The anticipated compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
