- Supervises order taking and delivery to guests in safe and efficient compliance with
- Supervises guest checks and payment collection in compliance with cash handling,
- Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage,
- Reports any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards and regulations
- Complies with all guest service basics such as uniforms, name tags and proper guest
- Knowledgeable on hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate.
- Ensures all communication containing Company, hotel, brand and guest information
- Impresses guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task
- Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with
- Ensure maintenance problems are promptly reported through proper channels.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency
- Write shift reports including reports on any incidents of theft, accidents or injuries
- Check with manager/supervisor before leaving work area for any reason.
- On time and at work when scheduled, and in proper uniform.
- Attend department meetings as scheduled.
- Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Report any incidents of guest dissatisfaction or other matters of significance to
- Bartending/Mixology experience
- Barista experience
- Any other tasks/duties as requested by management.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED.
- Two or more years of related experience.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
- Education in hotel/restaurant management or related major preferred.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently supervise staff, daily operations and resolve
- Ability to appropriately interview, hire, schedule, motivate, train, monitor, and
- Knowledge of and ability to follow proper food and beverage ordering, handling,
- Ability to understand and comply with federal, state and local serving guidelines.
- Ability to timely compile facts/figures, identify, investigate and resolve matters.
- Attention to details, good organizational skills and efficient time management.
- Ability to follow an appropriate course of action based on policies and procedures.
- Ability to operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.
- Familiarity with Aloha, Micros or similar POS preferred.
