Summary of Role
The Senior Event Manager is responsible for servicing high-profile groups and nurturing existing accounts to support all qualified group business. This is a hands-on senior leadership position that ensures the execution of meetings and events that exceeds the needs and expectations of ownership, the Sheraton Brand, guests and associates while maximizing the financial performance and return on investment.
The salary range for this position is: $80,000 to $95,000 annually. This position is bonus eligible.

Core Responsibilities
- Previous hotel experience managing large high profile convention groups
- Must possess excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Sets high personal performance standards and enjoys keeping track of individual and team progress toward goals. Must be proactive and have a creative, positive, and focused approach
- Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environment
- Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team
- Build morale and promote positive employee engagement
- Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations
