Sheri A. Peters, Co., L.P.A., is a small fast-paced law firm seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant to supplement multiple attorneys and staff. Pay is commensurate with experience. We are seeking a full time individual.
Sheri A. Peters, Co., L.P.A., has practice areas trust & estates, elder law, probate and trust administration and corporate.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Drafting Microsoft Word and Excel documents
· Answering Multi-line phones
· Document preparation
· Manage and assist with multiple cases files
· Keep and maintain organized case files
· Assisting attorneys and other staff in various aspects of case management
· Maintain calendars and scheduling appointments of attorneys in the firm
· Meetings and telephone calls with clients
Qualifications:
· 3 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
· Proficient with Microsoft Office
· Experience with Clio legal software recommended but not required
· Self-Motivated
· Ability to manage a case from start to finish
· Ability to manage calendars
· Ability to communicate with clients in a professional manner
· Ability to multi-task effectively
· High level of integrity and discretion
· Team player and willing to learn with positive attitude
· Notary Public
Pay: Commensurate with experience
