What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Detailer/ Shop Helper position at Sheridan Auto Body?
We are looking for a motivated person to get their career in the Auto Body industry started right here at Sheridan Auto Body. We feel that growing personnel from within provides the best results in building a persons career. Starting off as a detailer/ helper can jumpstart that career into any direction of the Auto Body industry whether it be in the Paint or Body shop roles.
Detailer is the last stop for a vehicle in the repair process before giving the customer back their car. So having an attention to detail is a must have. We want customers to be thrilled at how clean they received their cars back after having repairs done. Helping out within the body shop with tasks adds the ability to learn and expand within the Body Shop. Learning hands on while working with technicians will allow for quicker and better growth in your career in Auto Body.
- Cleaning interior and exterior of Vehicles
- Keeping Area clean and tidy
- Installing emblems and tape stripe
- Buffing and Polishing paint
- Driving, parking and securing Customer Vehicles
- Quality Checking vehicle prior to Delivery
- Cleaning/ sweeping shop
- Removal of parts/ boxes in shop
- Product Inventory
- Helping technicians
- No experience required but is preferred
- Valid Drivers License
- Acceptable Driving Record within the Company's Insurance Guidelines
