Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by providers.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
- Learn clinical tools and treatments offered and be able to assist patient in forming solutions to their health.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance nursing skills.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively with patients.
- Experience in medical documentation practices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong critical thinking skills for making informed decisions regarding patient care.
- Willing to help with social media.
- Able to start and manage IVs.
