ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for helping the store manager manage both of our sister locations in Northern KY: Sherlock’s Escape Rooms Florence and Sherlock's Escape Rooms Cold Spring. Job responsibilities include hosting games and corporate events, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, supervising and training employees, developing site standards, reconciling cash receipts and reports, assisting with scheduling staff, phone answering, booking reservations, sales/merchandising, customer relations, performing opening/closing duties, running weekly or monthly reports as assigned and enforcing and updating company policies and procedures, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Driver's license and ability to commute between our 2 Northern KY sites
- 2-year associates degree or attending college in a related field and/or 2 years relative experience
- Minimum 2 years excellent customer service experience
- High level of energy, focus, and engagement
- Attention to detail and excellent memory and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to work overtime as needed
- Computer and social media experience
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexible schedule
Minimum Assistant Manager Job Duties:
- Average 30-40 hour work week or as otherwise needed, minimum average no less than 35 hours per week
- Assist with and direct various sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives for our local market to help build relationships with local organizations and communities
- Supervise all staff, train, and develop new hires
- Maintain a positive culture
- Ensure bookings and cash reconciliations balance weekly for the Florence / Cold Spring locations
- Assist with ordering and stocking all supplies needed for our local market
- Assist with scheduling
- Regular cleaning of the Florence / Cold Spring locations
- General prop and game maintenance and repair for the Florence / Cold Spring locations
- Answering phones daily or delegated daily for the Florence / Cold Spring locations
- Responding to emails and social media inquiries
- Assist with tracking and responding to all social media reviews
- Guest relations
- Opening and closing duties
- Control room and game room management (i.e., game master supervision, maintenance, setup, shutdown, etc.)
OTHER DUTIES
- Assist with developing, updating, improving and maintaining training and game manual SOPs for our local market
- Assist with maintaining inventory (i.e., props, supplies, merchandise, promotional material, etc.)
- Involvement in new room concepts, design, and buildout for the Florence / Cold Springs locations
- Travel as needed to and from any Escape Newport location (including Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, and Texas) for coverage needs, etc.
- Assist with training new or existing leaders or managers at any site as directed by owner or regional manager
- Other duties as assigned by management

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
