SherlockTalent is seeking a Director of PR Business Development that will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business.
Responsibilities
- Proactively research, identify, reach out, and secure interest with consumer technology brands in need of PR services.
- Prospect and contact appropriate business executives to obtain appointments, analyze business needs, and manage the process.
- Move client prospects through the cycle, from consideration to project engagements to ongoing retainer relationships.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Manage the entire pitch process; oversee internal process for responding to RFPs and preparing for pitches.
- Develop strategic relationships with partners at VC firms, other agencies, etc. to increase referral business.
