The Pool and Beach Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of pool / beach guests and maintaining daily operations of the pool. This position also involves assisting with beach operations and equipment. A Pool Attendant must be friendly, courteous, professional, and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Essential Functions
- Greets guests with a friendly and sincere welcome
- Respectfully listens and responds to guest questions and complaints in an efficient and professional manner
- Appropriately organizes pool towels, refreshes as needed. Delivers used towels to Laundry for cleaning and keeps towels stocked
- Assists in maintaining hotel's supply of towels by following policy for guest responsibility of hotel's pool towels.
- Maintains cleanliness of pool decks, pool restrooms, and surrounding area.
- Organizes lounge chairs, stands, tables and other pool furniture in an orderly fashion.
- Actively participates in the assurance of the safety and fun of all programs.
- Assists with beach operations and equipment as needed. This includes transportation of equipment to and from the beach and proper set-up in designated area. Attends to guest needs.
- Completes additional duties as assigned
