Job DescriptionThe Sales Coordinator supports the sales & marketing operations with the goal of maximizing rates and over-all revenues. Partners with hotel management to lead the sales & marketing operations and relationships with the goal of maximizing negotiated group and transient rate in conjunction with overall revenue; works closely with accounting as applicable to any sales related accounting measures; provides outstanding customer service on behalf of the property and its ownership.Essential FunctionsAssists sales team to identify new contacts, develops sales leads, and responds to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenueFully understands the hotel amenities, packages, and promotionsGenerates and develops sales leads and contacts potential clients to build business relationshipsProduces proposals, event orders, and reservation confirmations for all clientsProduces accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the GM, DOSM and other managersRecords all appointments, follow-up meetings, and effectively tracks business leadsRegularly monitors client satisfaction and resolves any outstanding issues to foster relationships and secure future businessArranges and completes site visits and hotel toursChampions, networks, and prospects to raise awareness of the brandActs as a business partner, not a supplier to key accounts. Talks with key accounts about their business challenges.
