What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Worker position at Sherman Buildings?
Sherman Lumber is a commercial lumberyard serving internal and external building contractors. Our Yard staff and Drivers are critical in receiving handling and preparing materials for building construction. This role is important to keep our day to day operations on track.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Safely operate and maintain Company property and equipment
- Accurately pull stage and prepare orders
- Stock and maintain hardware materials
- Communicate with team and leadership
Yard Staff have a high regard for safety service and accuracy. Successful candidates enjoy the physical demands of the position including repeated heavy lifting are highly selfmotivated detailed and take initiative to get the job done right in a fast paced environment while managing multiple tasks at once.
