Appliance Installer - Peoria Heights, IL
Starting Wage: $25/hour
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday; 7:00am - End of Route

Now, when we say, “handy,” it’s not just, “I’ve used a drill a couple of times,” handy. It’s more like, “I have built custom cabinets, rewired ceiling fans, replaced copper pipes, and installed an entirely new kitchen suite with built-ins … all at the same time, with my eyes closed, standing on one leg, and with one hand tied behind my back,” handy.
Ok, maybe not that extreme, but you’ll need to know your way around a tool box and have some experience with home-improvement projects.
As a Sherman’s Appliance Installer, you’ll be responsible for installing lifestyle appliances, drop-in cooktops, over-the-range microwaves, dishwashers and more.
Here’s What to Expect:
- Work with cabinetry, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
- Have a keen eye for detail, and you won’t leave until the job is done right.
- Interpret complex manufacturer specification sheets.
- Follow clearly defined procedures to the letter.
- Communicate with our customers and put a smile on their face.
- Obtain your Class C driver's license to drive our trucks. (Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and proof of insurance are required.)
