Job Description
Sherpa Air is looking for a A&P serve as a planner and trainer for the Part 135 and 145 operations. Sherpa Air is expanding capabilities to add a Part 145 to their operation. Looking for a Planner to setup and coordinate the maintenance visits on turboprop, business jets and small regional aircraft. The Trainer position would develop and train the Sherpa Air staff to the Part 145 Quality Manual.

Responsibilities
Planner
- Assist in preparing customer quotes
- Develop and organize work packages
- Develop parts ordering and tooling list from work packages
- Maintain work package tracking information
- Communicate with customers seeking approval for Over and Above’s
- Prepare the final work package delivery to customer
- Follow all company and maintenance manual procedures.
- Maintain a clean and neat work area. Help with other housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Develop Part 145 training material
- Train the Sherpa Air staff 135/145
- Maintain training records
- Forecast training coming due
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Airframe and Powerplant certification by the FAA required
- Requires 10 years of related A&P experience
- Use of Microsoft windows computer and the Microsoft software suite (word, excel, outlook, etc)
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be a US citizen
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- A.S. or B.S. in Aviation program
- 10 years of related experience
- Use of computerized maintenance tracking program (CAMP Systems, eBis, Flight docs, etc)
