Sherpa 6, Inc has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Logistics Specialist at our Spring Lake, NC location. As an Administrative Logistics Specialist, you will join a rapidly growing company dedicated to supporting mission-critical customers. Our team is composed of driven software developers and former members of the armed forces, including soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen, all committed to exceeding customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
This individual will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to facility support, logistics administrative functions, and communication. This person must be able to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. The right person must have a great attitude and genuinely like to take care of people. This role will require someone who can remain flexible and is willing to work within an ever-changing environment. This is a full-time in office position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative logistics support, primarily through company software, administrative applications, phone, and email communication
- Create purchase requests, order office supplies, and manage receipt and distribution for company and US Government property
- Maintain shipping and receiving records for both Government Furnish Equipment and Contractor Acquired Property
- Familiar with submitting and reviewing expense reports, ensuring accuracy
- Provide general support to visitors and ensuring proper security check-ins
- Provide insight on administrative requirements for the facility
- Provide administrative support to the Facility Site Manager and employees on various projects and requests
- Manage orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet customer needs
- Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Communicate with suppliers, retailers, and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
- Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders
- Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck driver's) according to availabilities and requirements
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management
- Arrange same-day deliveries whenever possible
- Prepare accurate invoices
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience in customer service or logistics management
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
- Previous customer service experience
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen on working in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance
- Must pass a background check and drug screening

The proposed salary range is reflective across all Sherpa 6 locations, years of experience and skill levels. Salary negotiations will be based on a host of factors including but not limited to your geographic location, prior experience, relevant skills, education, and certifications.
