Job Description:
Sherpa 6, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integrator for the U.S. Army Nett Warrior
program. As a Systems Integrator, this person will be responsible for working closely with the PdM
Ground Soldier Systems (PdM GSS) program office. Overall responsible for supporting the assistant
product manager of the Nett Warrior Future Initiatives line of effort at PdM GSS.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and attend meetings with vendors and 3rd party program offices
• Compile meeting notes and distribution of content to internal and external stakeholders
• Support program office fielding synch and integration
• Support the program with acquisition management
• Remain abreast of military, government and commercial technologies related to C4ISR that can
support Nett Warrior
• Aid integrating new equipment with current equipment for demonstrations and testing
• Aid with new equipment specifications and standards between vendors and program office
• Conduct new equipment training on assigned products and supply context for equipment uses
and capabilities
• Train and integrate ATAK, WinTAK, TAK Server and CIVTAK
• Able to configure Tactical radios and manage MANET networks
• Identify discrepancies, anomalies and defects in products provided to Nett Warrior for
evaluation
• This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively
brief senior level government stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (B.S) in engineering or IT related field
• 10 years proven experience working in a similar capacity
• Strong experience with network architectures and network hardware configurations
• Experience administrating Linux and other server systems
• Military experience or knowledge of standard tactics, techniques, and procedures
• Solid experience problem solving system and network design issues
• Ability to communicate issues and solutions to various stakeholders
• Excellent writing communication and reporting skills
• Familiar with RDT&E across different Government Organizations
• Familiar with Government procurement processes.
• Must be a US citizen
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Experience:
• Past affiliation with Special Operations Forces (SOF)
• Understand tactical communications
• Flexible and able to adapt in ever changing condition
• Ability to configure basic router and switch
• Ability to bridge despaired networks
• Experience with certificate management
• Understand current industry standards audio and video standards
• Has Tactical Radio experience, specifically PRC-148C, PRC163C, MPU-5, 4200/4400,
400/600/850/950, and 117G/152A
• Knowledgeable of Military and Commercial Satellite systems
• Knowledgeable of Commercial and Tactical Cellular
