Responsibilities
- Oversee asset accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting and support M&A activities related to asset accounting.
- Provide analysis, reconcile exceptions, and generate sector-level financial reports.
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, conducting regular check-ins and performance reviews.
- Support system upgrades, process automation, and policy implementation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including corporate departments, regional offices, and finance teams.
- Address escalations, assist with process improvements, and provide operational support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5 years of accounting experience.
- CPA or MBA (Accounting focus) preferred.
- Experience in asset accounting and interpreting complex contracts.
- Proficiency in SAP, Hyperion/Essbase, and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
