Our Charlotte-based hospitality client is seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to join their accounting services & projects team. This is a hybrid work location role. This role will coordinate resources to achieve a more effective, efficient, and automated work environment, all while providing excellent customer service to the accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of analysts and developers who support Field Accounting department projects and initiatives.
- Oversee the planning and execution of team’s overall processes and tasks to ensure they are meeting or exceeding objectives/goals and accountable for their performance.
- Coordinate prompt issue resolution with internal and external technical support providers.
- Maintain and support current solutions to ensure business operation process continuity.
- Facilitate, support and automate processes surrounding accounting close.
- Support and maintain business applications and reporting as necessary for critical processes within the Field Accounting department.
Educational / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Information Systems
- 5 years of business experience with 2 years of managing direct reports experience
- Accounting/Finance work experience in a large public company environment preferred
- Experience in supporting and maintaining software applications
- Advanced Knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, Microsoft Power Platform, i.e., Power Automate, or other automation tools.
- Intermediate knowledge of SAP.
- Azure Dev Ops or similar tool experience
