Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial budgeting, accounting, and reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, legal, and audit requirements.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reports to support management decision-making and reporting obligations.
- Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to strengthen financial stability and operational efficiency.
- Partner with business leaders to develop key performance indicators (KPIs), financial forecasts, and strategic insights for improved decision-making.
- Analyze business strategies, profitability, and potential M&A opportunities through financial modeling, performance reporting, and pricing evaluations.
- Manage relationships with external financial service providers, including auditors, tax advisors, and payroll services.
- Lead, develop, and motivate the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Travel as needed.
- CPA designation with a relevant finance or accounting degree.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial services; asset management industry experience preferred.
- Background in public accounting with a strong grasp of investment management regulations.
- Proven leadership in managing finance teams and driving financial strategy.
- Strong financial acumen, including expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems, accounting software, and business applications.
- Strong project management and workflow optimization skills.
