Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis – Assist in annual financial planning, monthly forecasting, and ongoing financial analysis to support corporate and divisional decision-making.
- Process Optimization & Efficiency – Develop streamlined financial reporting and analysis tools using Excel and PowerPoint, ensuring consistency and efficiency across divisions.
- Cross-Functional Partnership – Work alongside corporate and divisional leaders to enhance financial acumen, support business strategy, and drive informed decision-making.
- Financial & Operational Analytics – Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, delivering insights that shape business outcomes.
- Executive-Level Reporting – Prepare and refine management reports used by senior leadership to track performance and drive strategic initiatives.
- Technology & Data Strategy – Serve as a OneStream power user, guiding company toward advanced financial planning and reporting capabilities. Support the development of a centralized data lake for enhanced reporting and decision-making.
- Capital Investment Oversight – Lead the CapEx approval process and reporting, ensuring capital investments align with business strategy.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation – Challenge existing processes, recommend best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous financial and operational enhancement.
- Education & Credentials – Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced certifications preferred.
- Technical Expertise – Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with 5 years of experience in FP&A and corporate performance management (CPM) tools (e.g., OneStream, HFM, TM1).
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking – Ability to synthesize financial data, identify insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Collaboration & Leadership – Strong communication skills with experience partnering across functions and influencing decision-making.
- Process Improvement Mindset – Proven ability to optimize financial processes and drive operational efficiencies.
- Global Perspective – Experience in international business environments is a plus.
- Flexibility & Willingness to Travel – Ability to work in a Charlotte-based hybrid or fully in-office environment with occasional travel.
